This Opportunity 

Our Chicago office is seeking a Senior Marketing Associate to join our growing Client Service & Marketing team. The Associate will assist in writing, editing, content management and production of all marketing materials including press releases, commentary, video, presentations, advertising, social and event collateral. This role will be an integral part of the Marketing team with responsibilities across the team’s functions, including assisting with strategy and brand development, media relations, campaign automation, MarTech development and advertising. This role interacts with all of Heitman’s business units and departments and is ideal for a candidate looking to gain marketing and media relations experience in the real estate industry.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively across internal Client Services & Marketing team members and external partners, agencies and vendors.
  • Support, project manage and at times lead both new and current multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Continuous focus on identifying improvement opportunities and recommending solutions.
  • Manage and execute social media strategy and marketing strategy and components.
  • Work with project stakeholders across business, compliance, creative, web and analytics from project initiation through execution, including initial planning, creative brief, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.
  • Leverage marketing analytics and present results and recommendations. Create regular reports based on ongoing initiatives to share with leadership.
  • Assist with updates and enhancements to marketing materials.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in writing, marketing or project management capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees in Journalism, Communications or Marketing preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills a must.
  • Superior project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Can work efficiently and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
  • Must be a results-oriented self-starter with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint
  • Understanding or willing to learn Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, Tableau or PowerBI. Digital design a bonus.
  • Some data analytics and data visualization experience preferred.
